SUSTAINABILITY

Sustainability is an issue to which we also attach great importance within our company. Our location on the wooded Rheinhöhe on the Middle Rhine shows us again and again how worthy our environment is of protection. We were awarded the DEHOGA Environmental Check in Bronze for our commitment to sustainability. We have implemented the following sustainable measures to date:

ENERGY MANAGEMENT

• Heating energy from resource-conserving sources (cogeneration unit and solar system)
• Maximum possible use of energy saving or LED lamps
• no "reception lighting" or TV switched on in the room
• Devices with energy efficiency A ++

WATER MANAGEMENT

• Perlators for shower and wash basin faucets
• Stop button for toilet flushes
• Change of towels on request of the guest (at least every 3 days)
• Change of linen at the guest's request (at least every 3 days)
• water-purged washing and washing machines

WASTE MANAGEMENT

• Avoiding disposable packaging in the catering trade
• Use of large bottles (beverages) in gastronomy
• Shower gel / shampoo in dispensers

REGIONAL / GASTRONOMY

• Use of regional and seasonal products

CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

• Use of local craftsmen during repairs
• Disabled facilities
• Use of own personnel during house cleaning
